Curls can have their own ideas, but my 4A Coils and Spirals have provided me with many versatile styles over the years. Every few weeks, switch between box braids, cornrows, fulani braids, sewn weaves, senegal twists, textured pixies, and TWAs (teen weenie afros). Technology – Not only does it help my hair grow, it allows me the ability to rock as many styles, colors, textures, and lengths as I and other natures desire.

Many curly gals sport protective styles during the summer months when the humidity tends to bring out their natural texture to the fullest. It eliminates the possibility of adversely affecting the definition. Another advantage of braided hairstyles, a protective style that is very popular among naturals, is that they can be worn all year round, not just in the summer. , influencers, and more, there are plenty of braid ideas to test each month if you need to, with a wealth of options curated.

    knotless box braid

The biggest difference between box braiding and unknotted box braiding is that the braider starts with natural hair rather than supplying extensions at the root (tying knots) to avoid tension on the scalp. Braids are great for those with soft heads as they are less likely to break or hurt when installed. As a year-round style, knotless braids can be placed in high buns, low ponytails, space buns, and many other styles.

    triangle braid

Triangle Blaze is a playful update of Box Braid. The style incorporates free-flowing braids, but also has edgy and intricate patterns. Suitable for all textures, triangular braids can also be used to part hair to the sides or center. With proper care, this style will last 6-8 weeks.

    jumbo box braids

Jumbo box braids (10-12 large box braids) are easy to maintain, versatile and never boring. And if you’re short on time, it’s a great go-to as the thickness of its size reduces installation time while minimizing maintenance.

    flat twist

A flat twist is done in two strands and can be of any shape. The elegant style lies flat on the head and looks neat with any outfit. Have them on their side, straight back, in a bun, or in a high ponytail.

    space buns

The Space Buns (two ’90s-inspired buns) need no introduction. However, braided space buns are a classic style update and one of the coolest ways to style a box braid. As with any style, don’t forget to protect your hair at night. Or place it over a silk scarf to keep the braid from being exposed and frizzy.

    fulani braids

Fulani braids have a cornrow base at the scalp and extend outward as you go down the head. Choose from overlapping braids, geometric shapes, or classic parts for playful baby hair. Define yours with a pattern of. It also pairs great with a summer hat or winter beanie because the hair lies flat on the scalp.

    Coi Leray braids

Coi Leray braids are a hot new addition to natural braid hairstyle options. The difference between this style and other seamless braids is the overly exaggerated edges that add extra spice.

    fake lock

Worn by natural world celebrities such as Gabrielle Union, Zendaya, Tracee Ellis Ross and Ciara, fake locks are the ultimate cool girl hairstyle. These braids last up to 3 months and protect your hair from manipulation and moisture.

    passion twist

A hybrid of Goddess locks and Senegalese twists, the Passion Twist uses a two strand twist method and curly braided hair. Experiment with different colors, lengths, and thicknesses to make this style your own.

    cornrose

The popular classic cornrow, also known as straight back, features hair that is braided at the back of the head and twisted outward to create a floating braid. You can braid your hair straight, wavy, or in intricate patterns, and you can even play with size. is also the basis of
