I explained to Sam that my hair is not something I spend a lot of time on. It often feels like the time you spend on your hair is wasted when you think about it falling out after hours.
To make the most of my situation, Sam gave me 3 simple hairstyles that can be easily tweaked and turned into something new. what do i have to do? On the first day after the wash, I start with the perfect base (in this case, a textured, wavy down). On the second day, I can transform it into a very chic ponytail. When it’s at its greasy, undone buns are best.
What is my main concern? Hairstyles like that weren’t easy enough for me to really catch up on. Sam’s simple tips changed my morning routine dramatically. Here are three low-maintenance hairstyles he explained to me that are perfect for lazy girls.
1. Textured down
This look requires a little more time (compared to the next two), but Sam showed me a very simple and very quick way to achieve a chic disheveled hairstyle. First, spray the root section with a volume spray. Next, turn your head upside down and brush with a hair dryer while applying heat from the roots (air direction is downward toward the ends). When you’re done, twist his hair into a top knot and leave it on for as long as the rest of your morning routine takes.
When you’re ready to finish your hair, untie the top knot. “If you leave it on for a while, it adds a nice wave to your hair,” says Sam. (opens in new tab) Add some quick waves to your hair and change the direction of your curls. Turn it upside down and make sure it coats all of your hair,” he says.
Run your hands through the waves to finish and spray the texturizing spray through the length. “Make sure the product is easy to brush and has some hold,” says Sam.
This style can be added if you have hair that will hold for several days before transitioning to Look 2.
2. Messy ponytail
When the tousled waves start to lose their magic, take this messy pony hairstyle out of the bag. Start by gathering the waves at the nape of your neck. “Now try to pull out a few strands around his face. Wait until you fix the ponytail or you’ll break his hair,” says Sam.
If you’re lacking volume, Sam suggests letting your hair grow back and lifting. say.
What is his biggest tip? “Use a silk tie or something softer than a typical hair band. This means you can manipulate your hair more, creating a kind of shadow around the contours of your face.”
Once the band is secured, take a thin section of hair from the outer part of the ponytail and spray it with Long Hold Gel for added shine. Then carefully wrap your hair around the band to disguise it. Blow the length out with a texturizing spray and finish by working in some volume with your hands.
3. Easy bread
What’s your last hairstyle before your next wash day? Bread, of course. By this stage, the foundation for a messy-looking (yet chic) bun is already there, thanks to the work you put into nailing the perfect ponytail. (Add product accordingly), take a length and twist it to create a “rope” of hair.
Then, wrap the hair around the clasp and pin it in place at various stages, but leave the ends loose.
Secure the ends of the entire bun with pins to create an undone, slightly ’90s finish. “When you do this and mist it with hold spray, it creates a lift. It’s all about preventing the style from going flat,” Sam says.
Now you have a few days’ worth of hairstyles with one person’s effort.
