Chloe Lott and Alex Williams’ love story began the moment she arrived at his house party in August 2013. “We had a great banter right away and he was able to keep up with me.” Alex agrees, noting how fun it was to watch her “dodge suitors left and right.” . “Our energies were immediately drawn to each other,” he adds. “Since then, we have enjoyed each other’s company very much.”

Chloe and Alex were once again on the same page when planning their April 30, 2022 wedding, wanting to focus on their family’s rich history and honoring tradition with their own unique love story. , it was only fitting that the couple’s special day was held at Chloe’s parents’ home in the Bay Area.
“A long time ago, Mr. Lott told me how he proposed to Mrs. Lott at a house on a balcony overlooking the Bay Area,” Alex explains. “The moment I took that panoramic view, I realized that not only were their roots planted here, but I could also see the roots of our relationship. We were together, the moments were real, the memories were right in front of us, and I thought it would be the perfect place to continue the tradition of love.”
The couple chose a venue that meant so much to them, they wanted to bring the same personal touch to every aspect of their big day, from the vendors they chose to the 80 guests who attended. We wanted it to be very romantic and have elements of us sprinkled throughout,” the couple says.

“Looking back, I was immediately overwhelmed with emotion,” recalls Alex. “We took the moment and hugged each other. She wiped away my tears of joy. In that moment, it felt like she and I were alone on this earth, but I felt like my family and I knew all my friends would be watching from afar. A moment I will never forget.”

For the ceremony, florist Apis Floral created an altar that combined wildflowers and crimson roses. “There was a red rose in the aisle [and] The aisle runners were overflowing with red rose petals,” the couple said.

With lots of string lights, several wooden tables covered with red runners, and roses repurposed into small vases and goblets, the reception area created a romantic yet inviting atmosphere. [and] There were rich blacks and deep reds that contrasted with the bright Ceremony colors,” explains Chloe.

San Francisco-based catering company Nosh served mouth-watering meals to guests. “We had Asian-inspired meals like black cod marinated in miso, tofu, or Asian-style braised beef ribs,” the couple say. “[Each entree was] Served with ponzu smashed cucumber salad, charred pomegranate, Japanese eggplant, baby bok choy and sushi rice.
What about dessert? The couple tapped the icing on the cake to create a simple white cake with chocolate and raspberry filling and banana and cream cheese frosting. says Chloe. “We had someone make cakes, cookies and sweets for our birthdays and graduations, and it felt perfect that Lynn would also make our wedding cake.”

Overnight, the couple and their guests utilized the entire property. Yes, we also used the pool. “We jumped in the pool at the end of the night and turned it into a pool party with friends and family,” the couple says. “It was unforgettable.”

The evening kicked off with a live dinner performance from former Santana singer Tony Lindsay and a vibrant setlist from DJ CJ Flash. But perhaps one of her best moments of the night was the couple’s first dance to Al Her Green’s “Let’s Stay Together.”
“Chloe and I not only danced a beautiful dance together for a moment that everyone was looking at, but we also got to share a special dance with our parents,” said Alex. “I remember a special moment when I saw Chloe and her father dancing while I was dancing with my mother. My mom doesn’t dance, so seeing her stand in front of so many people and share the moment with me is so meaningful.”
Chloe and Alex’s special day was family-heavy, and they worked together to create a special day for their family. A couple recommends. “At a wedding, all that matters is how you feel.” If a couple’s courtship is any indication, good energy and an instant connection can change everything.
