Amanda Frances Haley Hill passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. She was born on September 29, 1967 in Jasper, Texas to her parents Sharon and Roddy Haley. Amanda was welcomed into her family by her older brother Clint and then her younger brother Ryan.
She graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1986 and attended Abilene Christian College.
Amanda was an imaginative, energetic and fun kid. She had naturally curly hair and an infectious smile, which Amanda never complained about as her health took a turn for the worse after her recent brain surgery.
Amanda’s greatest love was her dog. She never knew a time in her life without her dog. Amanda loves animals and she grew up surrounded by different breeds of dogs. She inherited her first rat her terrier from her mother in 1991 and she fell in love with the breed. Amanda started training and showing dogs and founded CoHills Rat Terriers in Colorado. Since 2000, Amanda has competed in AKC, UKC and NADAC agility competitions.
