Brian Urlacher sued a hair transplant company for illegally using his caricature on a website.
Arlacher’s attorneys filed a lawsuit against Texas-based Houston Hair Transplant Center in Cook County in October 2022, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Urlacher is suing Houston Hair Transplant Center for using his image and likeness in a blog post on its website without permission. Houston Hare used Urlacher’s story as a way to promote her one of the company’s procedures, follicular unit extraction (FUE). Houston Hair and a competitor, Restore, for which Arlacher is a spokesperson, both use her FUE method.
Urlacher was known to shave his head throughout his playing career with the Chicago Bears. But the Hall of Fame linebacker surprised everyone seven years ago when he showed off a new look that included his entire head of hair.
Urlacher’s hair restoration surgery was performed by Restore.
Urlacher, 44, is seeking $50,000, plus legal fees, attorneys’ fees, and punitive damages from Houston Hare.
