Accompanying the video is footage of her pouring the contents of her “Monday” shampoo and conditioner bottles into a plastic bag, presumably preparing to dispose of them.
The video contains the caption: ‘DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS!!!! After 3 weeks my hair fell out excessively!’
In the comments section, users were discussing the quality of the product.
“Okay, so everyone hates Monday shampoos all the time, but not all hair types fall out.
“Mondays are so bad, why do people like them,” claimed another user.
“I use it, I have no problems with it,” another commenter voiced.
This isn’t the first time the “Monday” brand has been accused of damaging hair. In fact, there have been multiple reports of individuals experiencing side effects to the brand’s products, such as hair loss.
In response to the accusations, “Monday” released a statement to the New Zealand Herald in 2020, stating: The statement suggests that the number of complaints that the brand’s products are causing hair damage is relatively low compared to the overall number of products sold.
However, it is important that consumers are aware of the potential risks, be aware of any adverse effects that may occur, stop using the product immediately and seek professional medical advice if any adverse reactions occur. .
