An elderly woman was beaten, dragged away and subjected to police brutality in the Morena district of Madhya Pradesh. According to sources, the incident took place on the afternoon of January 7 when police officers arrived at Morenaz’s Pura village in Bali with the intention of arresting one of her, Saheb Singh. Police allegedly arrived at his residence while Saheb Singh was eating and tried to evict him from the house which he refused. Although he resisted arrest, officers got into a fight with him, sources said.
It was this resistance that led the police to drag Saheb Singh out of the house, after which his mother and wife defended him. However, both women were not spared the brutality as they were devastated for their intervention. Saheb Singh, in his video message, said police officers abused both his mother and his wife and physically assaulted him to protect him. Saheb Singh revealed that his mother even passed out due to the beating.
“Two police officers, Ashok and Shail Gujjar, have committed atrocities against us that no one else has done, so I demand strict action against them,” he said. I was.
In a video accessed by the Republic Media Network, police officers were seen grabbing Saheb Singh’s mother by the hair and dragging her into a PCR vehicle while her mother begged for mercy. Police have yet to issue a statement about the horrific incident while video of the incident circulates.
