worldOur skin is not static. It lives, breathes, and changes with age, weather, hormones, stress levels, and more. If you overdo it with liquid exfoliants or retinol, use a gentle oil or scented cleanser as they are less irritating (Elemis gives a nice glow). Gel cleansers, especially those that incorporate AHAs, are good for oily skin (one of my newest finds, Tatcha, is very good). Thanks to our cortisol levels being through the roof (the gift of modern life), pimples are no longer confined to adolescents. If you want a range that includes a cleanser created with makeup in mind, MAC The new Hyper Real Skin Care range improves your skin while enhancing your makeup. Oh, if only there was one cleanser that could do it all for everyone. With that said, U Beauty’s mantle is very close. The ultimate gel oil texture that cleanly removes make-up, excess sebum, and dirt without disturbing the skin’s PH balance. It’s not a cut, but it doesn’t require much and is one of the best cleansers I’ve used in a long time.
