1. Nourishes hair
30 minutes to 1 hour before washing your hair, be sure to apply hair oil according to the area of concern. While doing so, massage the scalp for a few minutes to increase blood flow and stimulate the hair follicles.
2. Don’t wash your hair every day
Washing your hair every day takes time and strips your hair of the natural oils it needs. Instead, keep a routine of washing your hair every two to three days. A bonus tip is to avoid using hot water to wash your hair. Instead, try rinsing your hair with cold water as a final step to close the cuticle and leave your hair soft and shiny.
3. Do not towel dry your hair or brush it while it is wet.
Doing this will only cause more breakage and damage. Instead, dab wet hair with an absorbent towel to get as much water out as possible. It will save you money!). If this is not possible, gently brush your hair using a brush designed for wet hair, starting at the ends.
4. Limit the use of hot styling tools on your hair
If necessary, use the hair dryer only on the lowest or lowest setting when the hair is 70% dry. Store curling and straightening irons only for special occasions. However, if you like curly hair, consider trying the heat-free overnight technique, which has many YouTube tutorials available. But yes! We will have a little time at night.
5. Protect your hair from the sun
Just like your skin, your hair also needs to be protected from UV rays. Extreme heat can lead to damage to some scalp conditions and colored hair. Use a hat or head covering to protect your hair from the harmful rays of the sun. As an added bonus, this protects the scalp from flying dust.
6. Master some protective hairstyles
When protecting your hair, always try simple, safe hairstyles like low buns, ponytails, and braids. These styles are useful if you have small children who love to pull their strands. Keep the style low and not too tight to reduce stress around the hairline.
It’s also a savior if you don’t have time to wash your hair but want to put it together. A bonus tip is to use a dry shampoo if the problem is over. However, limit the use of such products.
7. Arrange your hair
You deserve a little trimming! Get a haircut every 6-8 weeks to keep your hair healthy and keep split ends at bay.
8. Maintain a healthy diet
Make sure your diet is nutritious and balanced. Include fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, good proteins and carbohydrates, and healthy fats in your diet. You can also include biotin and other supplements specifically designed for your hair care needs.
These supplements also come in multiple fun and accessible consumption forms that you can easily carry around so you don’t miss out on nutrition while traveling. It is essential to include
9. Stay hydrated!
It’s important to think about the benefits that water brings to your hair. Our hair is made of water. Therefore, it is very important to stay hydrated at all times. Water keeps dry, brittle hair at bay, and a moisturized scalp strengthens hair and reduces overall damage.
