ELYRIA, Ohio — Police are seeking help in locating the man who allegedly robbed a key bank in Elyria Monday afternoon.
Witnesses said the suspect entered the West River Road building shortly after 2 p.m. and handed a clerk a note demanding money. Although he did not show the gun at any point, the employee complied and handed him an unknown amount of cash before he drove off.
The suspect is described as having a “heavy set” build with curly gray and white hair. At the time of the robbery, he wore a blue jacket, black stockings on his cap, face glasses over his mask. The type of car he may have been driving is unknown.
