    watermelon seeds

Ms Francis predicts that watermelon seeds will soon “become the mainstay of the haircare industry.”

Experts say watermelon seeds have powerful antioxidant properties, and massaging watermelon seed oil into the scalp will moisturize and nourish the hair to promote new growth.

    sea buckthorn

Sea buckthorn is a plant found in Europe and Asia.

Leaves, flowers, seeds and fruits are often used as medicines.

According to Ms Francis, sea buckthorn oil contains 190 nutrients and phytonutrients for both skin and hair and can be massaged into the scalp.

“Vitamins A, C, E and Omega 3, 6, 7, 9 in sea buckthorn oil increase circulation in the scalp and improve natural hair growth and maintenance.

    However, Web MD adds:

    papaya

Papaya contains vitamins A, B, and C, as well as proteolytic enzymes such as papain and chymopapain, and also has antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties.

Ms Francis suggested making a hair conditioning mask with half a papaya and a tablespoon of coconut oil to stimulate growth and prevent dandruff.

Additionally, according to a 2012 study, the vitamin A found in papaya may have positive effects on hair by helping the scalp produce sebum and protecting it.

Papaya as part of your diet provides even more antioxidant benefits, making it great for your heart as well as your hair and health.

    Seje Unglawa

This oil from the Amazon is derived from a plant called the Seje Palm and has been used for centuries by South American women to improve the strength and health of their hair, skin and nails.

Seje-ungurahua is used in cooking as a vegetable oil, as well as in soaps, candles and all-natural cosmetics.

In oil form, it is a powerful antioxidant with low levels of saturated fatty acids.

According to Ms Francis, “Sejae contains a high concentration of unsaturated fatty acids, primarily oleic acid, which provides the perfect moisturizing oil for dry hair.

“It’s also naturally infused with active antioxidants, antimicrobials, and microcirculatory properties that work together to balance and restore the scalp.”
