
Sublimic is now part of Henkel’s Professional Hair Care division.
Under the agreement, Shiseido retained a 20% stake in the Japanese corporation.
A deal to acquire the business was signed in February.

Mr Tung said Shiseido Professional brings additional capabilities and understanding in J-beauty premium hair and scalp care, hair loss prevention, styling and perm solutions.
“Combining two successful premium brands creates a compelling portfolio, an exciting blend of Western and Asian beauty expertise, innovation and education under one roof. It greatly increases the value we provide to our hair salon partners and the beauty industry,” he added.
Henkel said it will set up a J-beauty innovation hub in Tokyo to develop and coordinate products for Asian consumers. It will be the base for new product development and ingredient formulation for both the Shiseido Professional and Schwarzkopf brands.
