Hudson Whiskey is made at Tuthilltown Distillery in upstate New York, which is believed to be the first legal distillery to open in the state after Prohibition. Now owned by William Grant & Sons, the portfolio also includes Scotch distilleries such as Glenfiddich and The Balvenie. The Hudson whiskey line-up was rebranded a few years ago, and the distillery is located about two hours outside of town, with names like Do The Rye Thing and the aforementioned Big Bourbon from Bright Lights highlighting its ties to New York.
