The Emmie Hair Salon in Perth, Scotland, known online as @emmiehair, frequently shares hair hacks with her 4,500 followers.
In one of our latest videos, you can see one of our hairstylists sharing 5 essential tips, including avoiding supermarket shampoos.

In the 22-second clip, one of the salon’s hair stylists can be seen picking up various items that clients should and shouldn’t use.
The first is a bottle of Alberto Balsam Raspberry Shampoo. This is what she uses as an example of brands she doesn’t recommend to her followers.

Next, the stylist is seen holding a Tangle Teezer wet brush. This is something that is supposed to be gentler than a regular hairbrush.
These are available from most retailers, including Amazon, with prices starting at £10.49.
Other products featured in the video are silk scrunchies and heat protectors, which are also available at various stores.
Fans loved the video, garnering over 20,000 likes in the first month.
