Jackson, Mississippi (WJTV) – Many locals are affected by the Jackson water crisis and the businesses that use it on a daily basis.
Felicia Briscoe, owner of Hair Gallery II, said Jackson’s beauty industry was hit hard by the water crisis.
“Low water pressure makes it difficult to work and customers are hesitant to enter because they don’t know what’s in the water,” Brisco explains.
Many business owners like Brisco believe in staying in the capital to run a successful business, but water conditions make that difficult.
“We know this problem won’t be fixed in a few months, but many companies can’t keep it up until it’s fully operational,” said Briscoe.
Brisco and her employees at Hair Gallery II are performing to the best of their ability by providing hygienic and safe service to their customers. She hopes the water crisis will end soon and the business will return to normal service.
