titanic opens in theaters on February 10, and to mark its anniversary, the studio has unveiled a new poster featuring Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bucketer in a hug. But… something is wrong. I mean, Kate’s hair literally makes no sense at all. And is the other half down? IDEK, chaos.
Unsurprisingly, the reaction to this poster was swift and extreme, with replies to this tweet stating, “The real tragedy is this poster,” and “Who made the poster? I just want to talk.” “Why does her hair have two different personalities here?” [sic] The idea was to add long hair to the fake” and “what’s going on with her hair”. Also, a word to those who wrote “Jack is better this time”.
