To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the iconic tearjerker, the film will re-release in theaters starting February 10th. And this time, you can capture all the heartbreaking action in high frame rate 3D 4K HDR.
Directed by James Cameron and first released in 1998, Titanic has become a cornerstone of cinema for critics and romance fans alike.
To mark the occasion, a new trailer and movie poster were released, and the internet had some thoughts on the poster.
A new look at the movie’s iconic protagonists, Rose and Jack, played by Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. This time, we see Leo’s arm embracing Kate. But it didn’t matter.
Fans were quick to notice that Kate Winslet, aka Rose, looks like she’s been given a new hairstyle.
The front half of Kate’s head features the original short and curly look, while the other side of her head features a much longer and straighter look.
This image has become a hot topic on Twitter.
“Why does she have two different hairstyles?” wrote one user.
Another user wondered, “Did she get a perm and then hit the iceberg?”
Fans are just saying that the hairstyle is meant to represent Rose’s life and the life she wants with Jack, or that the simple look is stressing them out. So, fans also had another important question – where did the boat go! are placed front and center.
Weird hairstyles aside, this movie re-release is sure to grab attention.
