Lana Condor has an aura on her nails. On Jan. 23, the actor posted a photo of his Lunar New Year treats to Instagram Stories while also showing off his latest manicure.
Created by manicurist Lena Huang, this look was a classic Aura manicure. This trend has become more and more popular in recent months. In Condor’s iteration, her nails were trimmed into oval shapes and painted chocolate brown first, then added her pastel purple to the middle of her nails.
Aura nails are usually done using an airbrush machine, but you can also use a dotting tool and a sheer top coat to achieve the effect at home. The manicure became a celebrity favorite during the 2022 festival season and has since been seen by the likes of Dua Lipa and Megan Fox. It is known for being very colorful, so if you like statement nails, this trend is perfect for you. but adds a pop of pink or red “blush” to a neutral base for a more subdued look.
