Genevieve Dove boasts nearly 4.9 feet long hair. Dove continues to share tips and ideas on caring for her long hair on her Instagram, where she has over 131,000 followers.
The video after it was shared drew comments praising her long hair, while others criticized and trolled her.
“Charming girl, I want you to grow your very long hair more in the new year!” wrote a user.
“I hope your stunningly beautiful hair grows well beyond the length of the floor. I think it’s too beautiful to be cut,” wrote another.
The Daily Star reports that Genevieve was inspired by medieval princesses and mythical heroines as a child to grow such long hair. She trims part of her hair every month to keep her hair healthy and maintain an impressive length.
After a lot of practice, it takes Genevieve just 10 minutes to comb and braid your hair. She also advises the woman to wash her hair with shampoo and conditioner daily, and she uses a good comb and hairspray to avoid tangling and breaking her hair.
