Only three days into 2023, Miley Cyrus has already saved my year (and healed my lingering New Year’s Day anxiety). It didn’t bring her back to health, but instead shared many party performances with her godmother, Dolly Parton. That said, singing aside, what we (probably) enjoyed more than many of their duets was Miley’s iconic hairstyle.
If, like me, you listened to Countdown in the UK, you would have missed the NYE party streamed on the Peacock TV channel in the US. However, once Wrecking gave her access to all things Ball, Miley and her team shared a clip on her Instagram.
One of the standout notable posts was shared by the singer’s hair colorist Cassondra Kaeding, highlighting her change in appearance.
Notice the difference? Well, it’s very subtle I’ll admit, but Cassondra kept her dark halo tone underneath while correcting Miley’s platinum blonde roots. Let’s look at.
This transformation brings about as much as an iconic Disney Channel crossover episode… (IYKYK).
However, color aside, you should also pay attention to style. Miley’s frizzy (almost wet-looking) waves take us back to his early ’00s and paired with modern “skunk” colors are the perfect blend of old and new.
It may be a new year, but like I always say, trends always come and go. However, personally, pencil-thin eyebrows may stay in his 90s/2022… pls.
