Natasha Key-Marcel Haynes

Natasha Key-Marcel Haynes passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. She was born on April 16, 1992 in Portland, Oregon to Lorinda and Oscar Haynes.
Natasha was a lively and caring person, full of love and a light that brightened everyone she met.
After graduating from Grant High School in 2010, Natasha lived abroad in Mexico, worked as an Activities Director for several resorts, and learned to speak fluent Spanish. She returned home in 2012 with Natasha, where she studied Communication in Minor Spanish at Portland State University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in 2016. She was a phlebotomist, pharmacy technician and journalist who loved to travel. Her most recent endeavors included massage her therapy. She recently enrolled at the Oregon School of Massage where she worked to become her licensed massage therapist.
Natasha was outgoing and cheerful. She had many friends whom she loved and cherished like her family. She had a special way of bringing people together on any occasion. Her friends will always remember the countless hours spent in The Big House enjoying life, laughter and love. The home of many has been home to many people whose memories will never be forgotten.
Natasha was creative and loved art. She was fashionable, she wrote poetry, she loved dancing, especially salsa, and she loved listening to music…mostly in Spanish! She speaks Spanish fluently and has always found her beauty in experiencing other cultures.
Natasha represents beauty, grace and strength. She attracts people not only with her charm, but also with her fearlessness. Her charming smile, her vibrant eyes and signature curly hair will always be remembered.
Her presence in our lives was short-lived but impactful. When you think of Natasha, don’t forget to enjoy the precious moments of her life. Natasha will never be forgotten and she will always celebrate the many good memories we have.
She was preceded by her grandparents Addie Jean Haynes and Oscar Haynes Jr. her uncle Derrick Haynes; She leaves behind her parents, Rolinda and Oscar Haynes. Beloved girlfriend KT Taylor. Her grandparents, Norman Whitlatch and Janet Swanson. her uncle Brian Haynes and his wife Lynn Walton Haynes; her aunt, Karen Coleman; Her childhood best friends Tiffany Unga, Aida Antonio, Peyton Montgomery, Jarzelle Ambass, Maya Allen and Ashley Tellis. and many cousins, surrogate nieces and friends.
A service will be held at Emmanuel Church in Portland, Oregon on January 7, 2023 at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Oregon Humane Society in Natasha’s name.
