COSHOCTON – Trish Wharff-Israel is a high school graduate and resident of Newcomerstown, who is self-employed and has worked from home most of his adult life.
However, she loves people and in recent years has been looking for properties to start her own business. Her main focus is making people feel better through beauty services such as tanning, hair, nails, and eyelash extensions.
The first step in Wharff-Israel’s vision came true when they discovered that Coshocton’s former Four Seasons tanning was for sale.

Wharff-Israel and her husband Dave were immediately intrigued as it was a turnkey opportunity with a modern flair. Additionally, the business at 1018 Main Street included her four apartments above.
Most of the other properties the Israelis surveyed needed work. Trish and Dave became the official owners of Glam & Tan Beauty on December 1st.
The couple are newlyweds. Trish has one son, Jordan, 28, and her three children with Dave (plus her bonus child): Ava, 16, Logan, 13, and Mason, 11.
“Trish had a vision and now that vision is a reality. She now wants to interact with her clients personally. She then set to work examining all aspects of ownership by building a business strategy and obtaining all the necessary business licenses and other important items…” said Dave. rice field. She has excellent business acumen and intuition, as well as a strong desire to fulfill her desire to make people happy on their own. I’m so proud of her and she’s happy to be on this journey with Trish. ”
What kind of training did you receive when you took over the store?
Trish: “The previous owner has developed a great working relationship. I spent weeks working with them getting to know their business, meeting current customers and learning about tanning bed maintenance and care. We actually have a spray tanning booth that our customers use.This bed is very popular with both men and women.But the bed and its features were a new concept to me.This particular product features and Other tanning beds to keep in store.”
Your dream is to have a one-stop beauty shop. When do you plan to start adding services?
“We plan to start this project soon. Glam Tan & Beauty currently has 30 tanning beds. It is to utilize the space for waxing, eyelash extensions, and we are also considering the possibility of providing a massage therapist.
What would people be surprised to find out about you?
“Oh, this was a no-brainer for me, because for as long as I can remember, my ultimate dream career was to be a talk show host.”
What’s your downtime fun?
“First and foremost, we love family time with our kids, my family and Dave’s family. We also love entertaining both family and friends and enjoying Mexican nights at our favorite (local) restaurants. We also have a pontoon boat to hang out in. During the summer we take in as much of the refreshing feeling of being on the water as possible.”

“I would like to thank Dave for all his support as we embark on this new venture. He works full time but still helps out with Glam Tan & Beauty after work and on Saturdays.” is a godsend and I am very grateful to him.”
Hours of operation are 10 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday. Hours are extended in February, when tanning season officially begins.
