One of the hottest tours in alternative rock last year was Pavement’s reunion tour to celebrate the group’s 30th anniversary. One of his many highlights of the tour was the band’s performance in the long-running concert series ‘Austin City Limits’, playing a set of his 15 songs spanning his career. Check out the video below of the band performing “Cut Your Hair,” arguably their biggest hit.
The hour-long installment will premiere on PBS on February 4 at 7:00 PM CT/8:00 PM ET as part of season 48 of ACL. Following the broadcast, episodes will be available to stream for four weeks at pbs.org/austincitylimits at 11pm CT/12am ET.
While the tour continues overseas this year, the Pavement reunion takes many unexpected forms, including a museum exhibit, a documentary directed by Alex Ross Perry, and an actual musical based on their songs. .
