CHARLOTTE — A video posted on Instagram shows a violent attack outside a Southend restaurant on December 16, and police are investigating the crime.
A video post shows two men approaching a group of people standing outside the Soul Food Meat Company on the corner of Southchurch and Westbrand streets.
The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department reported that one of the perpetrators punched a 28-year-old man in the face.
The man fell on concrete and hit the back of his head, said a woman who identified herself as the victim’s fiancé in a social media post.
She said his jaw was broken and he had a concussion.
A woman who posted a video on Instagram is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
Those who frequent the area are calling it a daring attack in a high-traffic area.
