South Africa’s favorite Springbok wife decided to take a very brave step on Tuesday and chop off her long golden hair in favor of a shorter hairstyle.
The mother and co-founder of the Kolisi Foundation said it’s been 18 years since she cut her hair short and she doesn’t really like the change.
However, with the new year just beginning and the Kolisi family moving to France later this year, it seems Rachel has decided to embrace change.
Rachel pampers herself a bit as she moved “three kids, two dogs and 6,379 bags” to Durban just four weeks ago to join her husband, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, who now plays for the Sharks. was definitely necessary.
Fans and followers flocked to the comments section of Rachel’s post to compliment her beautiful new hairstyle.
Fellow ‘rugby wives’ Anria Van Rensberg, Springbok Locke, Eben Etzevez’s fiancĂ©e Maryse Pollard, and Springbok flyhalf Handre Pollard’s wives are all in this new look. I cried out how much I liked it.

Rachel, Siya and the kids go to France
On January 3, Rachel’s bag was barely unpacked when Siya announced that she would be joining Racing 92, a French rugby union club after the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
The move will mark the third time Rachel and the kids have moved to join him in Paris, where the club is located.
In a statement released after news of the transfer broke, Siya said Rachel and her children have made many sacrifices throughout his career, for which he is immeasurably grateful.
But he added that the move would allow him to spend more time with his family. It was something he had been waiting for, and he played a big part in his decision to join the French rugby club as well.
