Apparently the rumors were true. Samsung has announced that the first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2023 will take place on his February 1st at 1pm ET. And unlike last year’s event, the company is happy with the face-to-face presentation. The Freemason is inviting the media to his auditorium in San Francisco. Of course, you can also watch the live stream on his website on Samsung.
Samsung doesn’t say what to expect, but between the triple-camera teaser in the invitation (above) and the nature of its pre-order plans, it doesn’t tease the Galaxy S23 launch so subtly. People can pre-order future Galaxy devices on February 1st. Anyone who signs up for the reservation system by that date will earn $50 for pre-ordering one device and $100 for buying two Samsung credits.
What does the Galaxy S23 want? A leak suggests that Samsung will drop its Exynos chip, which it frequently uses in some markets, in favor of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
