After launching its UK website last October, Sephora has confirmed the opening of its London flagship store at Westfield London Mall in White City, West London.
The retailer offers a wide range of products ranging from makeup to fragrances, skin care, hair care and wellness and more than 140 brands including Drunk Elephant, Summer Fridays to Fenty, and Sephora UK exclusive names such as Mario’s makeup.
The store will also feature a “Grand Beauty Hub,” which the business said will “provide customers with memorable experiences as they explore makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrance, body and personalized gifts.” .
If all goes according to plan, the new store is expected to open in March of this year.
Sephora infamous for exiting the UK in May 2005 after opening just six stores, its first in 2000 in the massive suburban Bluewater shopping center on the outskirts of London. Last time it competed against established players as it closed its UK operations.
Rumors in 2019 that Sephora would open a store in the Westfield London shopping center did not materialize, but Sephora will acquire e-beauty retailer FeelUnique for $147 million in 2021, paving the way for its return to the UK. opened.
