On Saturday night in New Orleans, 84 women represented their country and turned up to fight for the coveted Miss Universe crown. Only Miss USA R’Bonney Gabriel took the top spot. Americans are more proud than ever to have beautiful and intelligent women speaking for them. R’Bonney made it to the final round alongside Miss Dominican Republic and Miss Venezuela. She wowed the judges with her passion for helping women empower themselves by teaching them how to sew through her nonprofit.She also has her R I run my own fashion brand called ‘Bonney Nola.
The Miss Universe contest had three events: Swimsuit, Evening Dress and Personality Interview. Of course, all the women on stage were beautiful, but there were a few special standouts at the evening dress event that left a lasting impression. Some opted for more subdued hues with intricate beading.
Miss Venezuela
Amanda Dudamel made it to the final round of Miss Universe 2023 and won first prize. Her dress in the evening dress portion of the night was one to remember. She paired beautiful jewel-like colors of light blue, gold, turquoise and white with a hint of deep blue at the top of the neckline. The off-the-shoulder neckline showed off the décolletage without being too revealing, and the train that extended from the shoulders added an element of elegance and surprise.This dress is certainly one to remember.
Miss Colombia
Maria Fernanda Aristizabal, known as Miss Colombia, pulled off a plunging neckline and still looked elegant. She had her hair loosely curled and her earrings dangling.
Miss Canada
Who knew a cape could be so gorgeous and stunning? The look was pulled together with a long, sheer cape woven with sequins and light feathering. It shined by itself.
Miss Australia
Many said it was great to have the beautiful Monique Riley on stage at each event. No wonder her evening dress looked so magical. The dress had a simple silhouette, a strapless hourglass shape and a thigh-high slit down the left leg, but the details are anything but simple. Miss Australia wore a custom-made gown by Arin Le Cal with intricate silver sequins and a flowing, eye-popping train. She wore it with a delicate tiara and long earrings. We combined.

You can’t go wrong with a chiffon skirt like a princess. That’s exactly what Miss Her Belgium decided to do with her evening dress selection. The royal blue color matched her complexion beautifully, and subtle cutouts on the sides lengthened her figure even more. Her luscious curls cascaded down her shoulders, and the slit on the left side of her skirt gave an added touch by peeking out at her legs.
Mr. Ecuador
The bright yellow hue of Miss Ecuador’s dress made her stand out on stage and was the perfect color for her deep skin tone. Nayelhi Gonzalez wore her hair in a long bun and long sparkly earrings.
Mr. Belize
Ashley Lightburn’s dress was unique in color and style. The eye-catching off-the-shoulder neckline featured tassels hanging above the waistline with cutouts and intricate beaded detailing. A rich gold-yellow tone complemented her skin and sleek hair. Miss Belize Her elegant and modern style made her a memorable contestant of the night.

There was backlash over the fact that Miss Russia Anna Linnikova was allowed to compete in Miss Universe, but her dress was beautiful nonetheless. Her neckline turned into a sheer train behind her. Her waistline was cinched to showcase a beautiful sequin design.
Miss Laos
It’s not easy to pull off a nude-colored dress without fading, but Miss Lao Payangsa Rol made it look effortless. A mermaid skirt made her legs look effortlessly longer. The beaded detail at the center of her chest added a nice touch and made her stand out on stage. I had a vision!
Miss USA
R’Bonney Gabriel made her country proud Saturday night. Her Evening Her gown certainly stood out from the rest. She wears a halter neckline with extravagant sequins and multiple cutouts, along with large ruffled sleeves that sit on her forearms. In order to concentrate on the dress, the hair on the back was tied up in a smooth style.
