STATEN ISLAND, NY — Longtime hairstylist Leones Trinity, 34, has realized that now is the perfect time to pursue her dream of launching her own line of hair products. he had a heart attack.
“In 2020-2021, I had a rough year after the sudden passing of my sister, Edwina Dean McCrimmon,” said Mariners Harbor resident Trinity.
“She was one of my biggest supporters. …I know that her sudden death prevented her from accomplishing a lot of the things she wanted to do. I bet on myself.” Without it, I realized that I might not be able to do what I envisioned because I never know when it will be my time.

That same year, Trinity lost all of her personal belongings when Hurricane Ida flooded her Port Richmond apartment.
“Everything was just destroyed. Mold started growing on the walls. And unfortunately, I didn’t really get much help,” she said.
At this point, Trinity found herself in need of a new beginning.

I was at a loss. I had to get serious about my business and had to bet on myself. So I bought Vendor His List from Sierra Glam Shop, a businesswoman featured in “Vh1 Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta,” and started going to business. It was important because I regained confidence in my craft,” Trinity said.
In August 2021, she launched Trinity Place Designs, offering her own hair care products and mobile salon services.

“Our mission is to continue to provide innovative and professional hair care services. With my extensive educational background, I was well prepared for a career in beauty,” she said.
About Leones Trinity
A former Rikers Island City Jailer, Staten Island Ferry information guide and 911 operator, Trinity’s passion has always been in the beauty industry. She graduated from New Her Dope Paul Her Mitchell Her Partner After graduating from her school she pursued business at Staten Her Island College in Willowbrook and learned how to run her own company . In addition to her new business, she now has administrative duties for the NYPD.
“I started styling my hair when I was 10 because I didn’t like what my mom did with her hair. So I was against it. She gave up and said, ‘Do what you want.’ I did,” said Trinity. “I started practicing for myself and the rest of my family after I decided I didn’t like the way my mom styled it. I started styling it on a daily basis.”
Her clientele is built largely by “word of mouth” and has developed into “very loyal customers,” she said.

Services provided
Services offered by Trinity include extensions, coloring, cutting, braiding and twisting. She then calls her home and sets her hair in the comfort of her client’s home.
“We want our clients to bring their preferred style, and we provide expert opinion and advice on how to safely achieve their preferred style,” she said.
“My main goal was to provide convenience to our customers. [I wanted] You don’t have to worry about being in a crowded salon or choosing the wrong hair care products. We offer luxury service and one-on-one by traveling directly to our clients. – 1 interaction. They were so happy when they found out I was going to them that I didn’t have to lift a finger until it was time to complete the payment.

Trinity said she always wanted to offer a line of high-quality hair products for men, women and children that any client could easily add to their hair care regimen.
“I decided to create a line of products when I was in hair school,” she said. We cooperated.”
Her hair care line offers a wide variety of items including shampoos, conditioners, leave-in conditioners, styling products, hair growth oils, beard care products, children’s hair and body products, hair masks and more.

One of her best-selling products is Edge Control.
“A lot of people have baby hair at their hairline and they get messy, so Edge Control helps you tame the edges,” says Trinity.
In the future, we plan to offer educational classes to teach people how to reach their full potential in the hair industry.

Trinity’s son, Seth Trinity, 9, — a pianist and child actor — has become a brand ambassador for her children’s product line, TPD Kids.

And her son was the perfect model.In addition to working moms and dads, boys and teenage men make up the bulk of her clientele.
“Many young men take pride in growing their hair out, so I have many clients who want to look like famous athletes and musicians.
And just like her sister inspired her, Trinity hopes to inspire others to pursue their dreams and goals.
“I write down many goals on paper and in notebooks. I work hard towards these goals, even when faced with different challenges. I love that you keep pushing.” … I know I’m not perfect, but I do what I think is right,” she said.
