    Los Angeles – (business wire) — Henkel announced the official opening of its beauty care hair professional headquarters at 5800 Bristol Parkway in Culver City, California. This new location is the culmination of his bringing together several major brands in one cohesive, technology-rich location. Henkel’s North American Professional Hair Care brands are intended for both professional hairdresser/salon use and consumer use.®Kenra Professional®#mydentity®, PRAVANA®, Schwarzkopf Professional®, and Sexy Hair®.

    Stephan Mundo, Regional Head, Henkel Beauty Care Hair Professionals North America, said: “Combining our operations further strengthens our footprint in the United States and strengthens the overall Henkel culture of being a catalyst for knowledge sharing and collaboration between companies.” Henkel Beauty has since been part of his care hair professional portfolio. Henkel acquired Sexy Hair, Kenra and Alterna in 2014, and in 2017 he acquired PRAVANA from Mexico City-based Natural Laboratories. These businesses operated from their respective locations in Culver. City, CA, Chatsworth, CA, Indianapolis, IN and New York, NY, before all brands were consolidated under his one roof in Culver City. The PRAVANA team will join Culver and his City colleagues in the first quarter of 2018. By Q2 2018, approximately 200 employees from across the brand will be working at the location. Warehouse operations will remain in Chatsworth and Indianapolis.

    In January of this year, we also successfully completed the acquisition of Zotos International Inc., Shiseido’s North American hair professional business. The acquisition includes leading hair professional brands such as Joico and Zotos Professional.

    The new facility in Culver City features a loft-style, open-space work environment with a world-class Academy of Hair multi-brand learning center opening in Q2 2018. We care for our hair professional brands by maximizing the knowledge and best practices of our employees while maintaining their uniqueness,” he said. “These brands maintain their own DNA, culture and rich history, but our employees are passionate about their professional hair care and salon customers. We share a vision, and a focus on innovation to maintain our market leadership in the beauty industry.” The Academy of Hair educates Henkel employees, representing Henkel’s professional hair brands, on how to use our products. , is a state-of-the-art demonstration and learning facility where you can demonstrate. The facility includes a full-service testing salon and colorbar, as well as a digital trends lab designed to set the stage for photo/video shoots and live broadcasts of demonstrations and training.
