Los Angeles – (business wire) — Henkel announced the official opening of its beauty care hair professional headquarters at 5800 Bristol Parkway in Culver City, California. This new location is the culmination of his bringing together several major brands in one cohesive, technology-rich location. Henkel’s North American Professional Hair Care brands are intended for both professional hairdresser/salon use and consumer use.®Kenra Professional®#mydentity®, PRAVANA®, Schwarzkopf Professional®, and Sexy Hair®.
Stephan Mundo, Regional Head, Henkel Beauty Care Hair Professionals North America, said: “Combining our operations further strengthens our footprint in the United States and strengthens the overall Henkel culture of being a catalyst for knowledge sharing and collaboration between companies.” Henkel Beauty has since been part of his care hair professional portfolio. Henkel acquired Sexy Hair, Kenra and Alterna in 2014, and in 2017 he acquired PRAVANA from Mexico City-based Natural Laboratories. These businesses operated from their respective locations in Culver. City, CA, Chatsworth, CA, Indianapolis, IN and New York, NY, before all brands were consolidated under his one roof in Culver City. The PRAVANA team will join Culver and his City colleagues in the first quarter of 2018. By Q2 2018, approximately 200 employees from across the brand will be working at the location. Warehouse operations will remain in Chatsworth and Indianapolis.
